Health, Safety and Environment Policy
Pacific Oleochemicals, Pasir Gudang is committed towards achieving the corporate mission throughout its business activities by:
- Establish and implement Occupational Safety & Health Management System and Security measures to eliminate or minimize risk to employees and stakeholders.
- Establish and implement Environmental Management System to manage and control environmental impacts resulting from our activities, products and services.
- Pursue towards continual improvement of the Occupational Health & Safety system. Environmental Management system and Security system through management of change.
- Comply with the Malaysian laws, legislation, corporate level standards, Responsible Care requirements and other requirements subscribed.
- Minimize or eliminate Environmental pollutants, Occupational Safety & Health hazards through reducing, recycling, re-using and replacement of materials. Thus, improving the activities / processes at a sustainable level.
- Educate and motivate employees, suppliers and contractors by providing adequate information, instruction and training to instill awareness and enable them to perform their work in a safe and responsible manner without creating any risk to their Health and the Environment.
- Provide a Safe, Clean and Healthy working environment for employees to encourage them to lead a Healthy lifestyle.
- Practice an open communication approach on the Health, Safety and Environment Policy / Objectives as appropriate to employees, customers, suppliers, contractors and other interested parties.
- Practice good management of security surveillance in all aspects of our business activities.
- Committed to Product Stewardship principles, we manufacture biodegradable and safe products. Handling and distributing them in a responsible manner by working together with the suppliers, transporters & customers. Educating them on product knowledge / MSDS and encouraging feedback from them.
