An industry introduction session was conducted between Temasek Polytechnic, Singapore and Pacific Oleo on 20-7-10. The session opened with the introduction of Pacific Oleo and the Oleochemicals industry and progressed into greater detail on oleochemicals production and products. The objective of the session was to expose students who are pursuing their studies in engineering, more specifically revolving about the production processes and products of oleochemicals. There were more than 400 students from various engineering courses attended the session and the lecture hall was fully occupied. The session also included a site visit that was carried out on 13-10-10. A total of about 30 students visited our plant at Pasir Gudang. Visitors from Temasek Polytechnic were exposed onsite to the manufacturing environment of oleochemicals and the overall processes.

Palm Oil & Lauric Oil Price Outlook is an annual event organized by Bursa Malaysia. It provides a stage for palm oil and palm oil related companies to promote their products and exchange information from all over the world. Pacific Oleo has participated in the event since 2006 and has put up a promotion booth again during 2008 when the event was organized at Shangri-La Hotel.
